Windows 7 is the next release of the Microsoft Windows operating system which will replace Windows Vista and is a Step Forward in the development of Microsoft operating systems. The new OS will incorporate enhanced reliability, greater efficiency, an improved interface and extended working features both in global and local information networks.
The technical preview is a complex solution for securing computers running under Windows 7. The prototype includes not only an antivirus component but an effective and fully functional firewall and Anti-Spam Filter.
At the heart of the new technical prototype is Kaspersky Labs new antivirus engine which is even more effective at detecting malicious programs than its predecessor. The new engine dramatically increases system scanning speed thanks to improved processing of objects and optimized use of system resources, particularly on dual- and quad-core processor platforms. The unique product architecture ensures high productivity and one of the lowest uses of system resources in the industry.
The technical preview includes a highly effective heuristic analyzer. The heuristic analyzer detects and blocks as yet unknown malicious programs. If a program signature is not included in the antivirus databases, i.e., the malicious program is unknown, the heuristic analyzer will safely launch the program in an isolated virtual environment, analyze the programs actions and conclude with a high degree of probability whether it is potentially harmful before it is launched in a live environment.
In addition, the technical prototype includes a new user interface developed to meet the needs of both inexperienced and advanced users.

FlashBoot is a tool to create bootable USB disks, USB Flash Memory keys and cards mainly.
What are the benefits of such devices for you? Lets see:
unlike the most bootable medias, bootable USB Flash keys are very handy: compared to floppies, they have much bigger size, speed and reliability, compared to CD-ROMs, they are random write access devices, so you can backup your data to the same media where you booted from, without need to reformat (reburn) the entire media. Again, the cost per megabyte for them continues to cut down, which is not the case for CD-ROMs and floppies.
And the most important thing is that you can use bootable USB Flash Disk almost everywhere, on any PC that has USB port. Are you going to repair your PC at your work without CD-ROMs, floppies or other media? No problems anymore. Or you have a laptop but without a CD-ROM drive? Even if with a CD-ROM drive, you cant work with it for a long time: boot device is accessed quite often, and battery power is obviously not enough to supply laser for a long time. Perhaps you are home user with a desktop PC. And you are ready to repair it with your favorite bootable CD-ROM, OK. But what if CD-ROM drive fails? Will you be able to boot or to get your backup data back?
With bootable USB Flash Memory key, you may boot every PC with USB ports, regardless of non-present or broken devices, because theres no need for any extra devices. You dont have a media size limit of 700 or 800 MB anymore, and buy a big or a small disk depending on your needs. Just after boot, on every PC, you may save your files to the same device from which you booted, or restore them back. Theres no need to reformat (reburn) the boot disk, you just copy files and folders, and theres no need for extra hardware for such operations. Of course you may do some things you cant do under your OS: copy/modify system files (they are busy when OS is running), reinstall OS, repartition your main hard disk etc.
FlashBoot is a tool that makes USB disks bootable. It was specially designed to work with USB Flash devices. It is used to reformat flash disk (thats optional) and transfer system files to it.
You have many options for your choice:
convert BartPE bootable CD-ROM to bootable USB disk
transfer DOS kernel only (you may get the files from installed Windows 9x, from Windows 9x setup folder, or use built-in FreeDOS)
convert floppy disk to USB Flash disk (a diskette or an image file may be used)
convert a bootable CD-ROM to USB Flash disk (again images are supported). There are some technical difficulties with supporting any type of CD-ROM here, see details below. But there should be no troubles with the most real cases. You may convert Knoppix and EBCD, for instance.
create Windows NT/2000/XP password recovery disk
create disk with NT/2000/XP bootloader. It would be useful when you have mistakenly configured it, and boot.ini file was left on unreachable disk (NTFS).
duplicate USB flash disk. Just creates a copy of existing disk USB flash disk, different sizes of source and destination medias are OK.
Types of convertible CD-ROMs include so-called 1.44-floppy emulation bootable CD-ROMs and no-emulation CD-ROMs based on ISOLinux.
FlashBoot is designed to be compatible with all types of bootable USB Flash disks, i.e. it is not binded to Transend, Kingston, HP, or to any other particular manufacturer of USB Flash disks.
FlashBoot is designed to be compatible with most of the BIOSes. Some of them require USB disk to be partitioned (USB-HDD mode), some of them require superfloppy format (USB-ZIP mode). You may choose disk format type between partitioned disk and superfloppy, when formatting your USB Flash disk with FlashBoot (if you choose to reformat). You may write the output to image file, transfer it to another PC and write it to physical device there (either with FlashBoot or with any other suitable tool, for example, with Linux dd command).

Bitdefender Total Security/Internet Security/Antivirus 2010 v13.0.16 – 32 + 64 Bit!!
The BitDefender range includes antivirus products for home users, businesses, enterprise users and Internet service providers. Home editions support Microsoft Windows, Symbian OS, Windows Mobile and Mac OS X (Beta); business and enterprise editions support Microsoft Windows, Linux and FreeBSD. The current version of the Home/Home Office security suite includes antivirus, anti-spyware, firewall, e-mail spam filtering, backup, tune-up and parental control components. A free basic online scan is offered via the BitDefender website. The Free version however does require free registration and is valid for 1 year after registration.
In reviews for BitDefender, the home version of the suite was given the PC Answers editor’s choice award in a comparative review in May 2007. As of June 2007, BitDefender had passed Virus Bulletin’s VB100 independent tests 14 times out of 18 since first tested in 2002. It also achieved an advanced certification from AV Comparatives for on-demand scanning, and standard level certification for catching unknown viruses, though it was criticised for its slower scanning speed and higher instances of false positives. In another test conducted by AV Comparatives in August 2009 to determine the antivirus software with high detection rates and the lowest false positives rating, BitDefender received an Advanced+ Certification. It is also the least expensive of the top three antivirus solutions, as ranked by PC World.
BitDefender is designed to protect computers from viruses and spyware. Older versions of BitDefender are made available for free download when newer versions are released. The first version which was made freely available was version 6. As of May 2009, version 12 of BitDefender is freely available for download. Unlike the commercial version, the free version only offers an on-demand virus scanning and doesn’t provide real time scanning, and may therefore be less suitable for machines with a continuous connection to the internet.

NOTE: The installer say it is the Professional version, but we
ripped out the MKL, TBB and IPP, so we have here the
standalone compiler. The MKL, TBB and IPP are released
seperately in the newest version. We must go this way, cause

Windows 7 (formerly known under the code name Blackcomb and Vienna) – a computer version of the operating systems Windows NT, the next for Windows Vista. The spread of English-language versions of operating systems and versions in other national languages among manufacturers of computers is scheduled for 24 and 28 July respectively.
In early August, access to the operating system will have software and equipment recorded at sites in Microsoft Connect and MSDN. A little later, in August and early September, Windows 7 will be available for large corporate clients and members of various affiliate programs. Ordinary users will have to wait until October 22, exactly on this day the product will appear in the consumer market.
